Anita Van Rootselaar
Anita’s exposure to Real Estate began as a teenager, working as an administrative assistant in her father’s custom home building firm where she learned first-hand that the details of purchasing a home must be handled with care and diligence. Not one to dismiss life’s experiences as stepping stones, Anita utilizes the strong people skills she honed as a primary school teacher into excellent listening skills, patience, and understanding- all hallmarks of reliable service her clients can depend on; she knows that the creation of a long-term relationship is far more valuable than any single transaction.
Having been a foster parent instilled in her both courage and fortitude, as well as humour and wisdom, enabling her to recognize and share the joys which so often cross life’s paths. She believes in the Givers' Gain philosophy and currently serves as president for the local BNI Advantage Networking chapter. Anita has a strong commitment to her community and volunteers her time to raise funds for 2 local charities. An avid bargain hunter, Anita enjoys flea markets, antique shows, auctions, and the occasional yard sale. She currently resides in the quickly expanding east end of Guelph.
